2020 GHMIA TO CANCEL UNTIL 2021

In these uncertain times where wearing a mask and being out of work is the norm, the certainties of any future live musical performances remain dim. As live music venues have been forced to close due to COVID-19, Hamilton musicians have no place to play, no chance of remuneration, unable to afford a recording studio and must not sing moistly.
It is with regret, the Board of Directors of the Greater Hamilton Music Industry Awards have decided to cancel efforts for a 2020 awards program. However, we have rescheduled the celebration for September 2021. Until that time, we welcome your comments and ideas.
We thank everyone who took the time to submit their nomination. All submissions that we made to date will be contacted.
